Steam disinfection is standardized by AFNOR, and D-VAP units meet the requirements of standard NF T72-110.
The effectiveness of steam cleaners is proven against the standard's reference strains:
bactericide, fungicide, mycobactericide, yeasticide, sporicide, virucide.
